What types of promotional codes are available?
There are 3 different types of promotional codes:
- by_percent – percentage discount of the cart price
- by_fixed – discount with a fixed value per ticket / voucher
- cart_fixed – discount with a fixed value for an entire cart
In percentage – percentage discount on the price of the product
The customer will receive a percentage discount for the whole cart.
Fixed price – discount with a fixed amount per ticket / voucher
The customer will have a fixed discount, for example 10 euros, per ticket. Please note that the customer will receive the discount for each ticket in his cart if there is no limit “The maximum amount of discount is applied”. For example, if the discount is to be applied only to one ticket in case the customer buys multiple tickets of a category, the maximum quantity is 1.
Fixed cart – discount with a fixed amount for an entire cart
The customer will receive a discount on the entire cart, regardless of how many tickets are in the cart. The amount is always fixed.
Maximum use per promotional code
The maximum usage fields define the maximum amount that a customer can redeem with a promotional code. In this case a use is a single transaction / shopping cart and does not take into account the quantity of tickets purchased. The amount of tickets purchased can be limited on a product level by using “Maximum discount amount applied”.
